Syngenta contacted Wideum to improve the way it takes care of crops, with experts from anywhere in the world bringing knowledge and support to local agriculture. It needed adequate surveillance of crop growth and pest development, and training and support for farmers focused on solving tangible problems.

The solution

Syngenta implemented a full solution with RealWear headsets (smart glasses) and Remote Eye.

When its teams cannot travel to remote lands and sites, they use this technology to train and empower local farmers to counter threats in crop protection and maintenance tasks. As one of its head support engineers puts it: “There’s nothing like remote collaboration to be more productive on the job.”
