It brings live video remote assistance, augmented reality and hands-free smart glasses to the places where a standard phone is simply not allowed.<\/p>\n<h2>Why a dedicated version for explosive atmospheres?<\/h2>\n<p>In an ATEX zone, standard phones, tablets and smart glasses are forbidden: a spark from a battery or a hot surface can ignite gas, vapor or dust. Until now that meant the technician inside the zone had no way to show an expert what was in front of them, except leaving the area, taking notes by hand and calling from the office.<\/p>\n<p>Remote Atex solves this with <strong>certified intrinsically safe devices<\/strong>: ATEX smart glasses such as the RealWear Navigator Z1, iSafe rugged phones and tablets, and ATEX-rated cameras.
